This October, in honour of World Sight Day, we at Progressive Vision are raising funds for Orbis Ireland.

Orbis Ireland works to bring essential eye care to rural communities in Ethiopia, where access to healthcare is limited and preventable blindness is far too common. 

Here's how your support can make a difference:

• €15 can fund an eye surgery to prevent someone from going blind
• €30 can provide glasses for two children in rural Ethiopia
• €40 can train a teacher in basic eye health so they can spot vision problems early
• €85 can deliver all of the above
